A successful Christmas once again for Knaresborough Lions

Knaresborough Lions would like to thank all who supported us over the Christmas period. Whether you came out to see Father Christmas and his sleigh or bought from mulled wine from us at Bright Friday or the Christmas market, you have helped to make Christmas better for many people in our area. We were able to assist in a number of areas including vouchers for families who are struggling, vouchers for Harrogate Homeless and contributing to the parcels organised through the Friendship & Leisure Centre.

Thanks also to a generous grant from Virgin Unite, we were able to put money towards a Christmas party for older residents, organised with Lions and other groups in the town. Here, Lion Bernadette Reid shows the spread put on for what was a fantastic afternoon.
