The Lions Club of Knaresborough was established in 1987 as a voluntary group to serve the community of Knaresborough, Nidderdale and Pateley Bridge. The Knaresborough Lions raise funds by running community events, and distribute at least 80% of those funds to local groups and individuals in need, with the rest going to international causes. All of our administrative costs are funded by members’ subs and additional donations by members; these go into an administrative fund which is kept separate from our charity fund.
