The Lions Club of Knaresborough has been serving the communities of Knaresborough, Nidderdale and Pateley Bridge since 1987. We are a voluntary group who raise funds by organising community events such as the Great Knaresborough Bed Race and the Knaresborough Lions Beer Festival. We distribute over 80% of those funds to local causes, with the rest going to international causes through Lions Clubs International. Our administrative costs are funded by members' subs and donations. We love being part of our local community and lending a helping hand wherever we can.

We meet on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month at 8pm at the Working Men's Club on Kirkgate. We are always open to new members.
